Betty Lynn Buckley Awards
Casa Mañana Theatre

Named in honor of Fort Worth’s own Tony® Award-winning actress, the Betty Lynn Buckley Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theater across Tarrant County. The awards ceremony was presented on May 20, 2010.
All Tarrant County high schools that produce a musical are eligible to participate in the program. A panel of distinguished judges–comprised of local theater professionals, critics and educators–votes for a winner in each of 16 award categories. Select award categories are divided based upon the budget size of the school's production. Winners in select categories are rewarded with a $500 college scholarship, which is provided by generous donors who recognize the benefits of this program and the impact musical theatre has on the lives of students.
